The sinister Dark Lord terrorizes the peaceful land of Miitopia by stealing the faces of its inhabitants and grafting them onto monsters to bend them to his will. When a traveling hero arrives in the town of Greenhorne just as the Dark Lord strikes, a divine guardian calls upon them to set out and stop the villain. Gathering a party of adventurers along the way, the hero journeys across kingdoms and fantastical realms to recover the stolen faces and free the people of Miitopia from the Dark Lord's grip.
